How it all started
After School Dreams began as a shared vision between siblings Xavi and Carla, who wanted to create a space where children could learn, play, and grow beyond the school day. What started as a small idea soon became a vibrant community — a place built on care, creativity, and family values.

Xavier Perez
FOUNDER & LEAD COACH
Xavier Pérez is the Founder and Lead Coach of After School Dreams, bringing a wealth of professional experience, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to children’s development through sport and creative learning. He holds a degree in Sports Science, alongside multiple coaching qualifications, and has built his career around delivering high-quality, engaging, and safe sessions for young learners.
With extensive experience coaching across diverse disciplines, Xavier leads our programmes in tennis, ping pong, junior gymnastics, multisports, and Mini Cooking. His background in sport is complemented by a certified Food and Hygiene qualification, ensuring that all Mini Cooking sessions are delivered with the highest standards of safety and care.
Xavier’s coaching style combines structure, enthusiasm, and clear guidance, creating an environment where children feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn. His ability to adapt to different sports and age groups reflects his strong technical foundation and dedication to helping each child thrive.
As the driving force behind After School Dreams, Xavier not only coaches but also designs and oversees the wider programme, ensuring that every activity reflects the values of professionalism, creativity, and child-centred learning. His leadership is rooted in a genuine passion for youth development, making him a trusted and inspiring figure for both students and staff. -
Damien Malgorn
BASKETBALL COACH
Every strong team begins with skilled guidance, and Damien brings exactly that. He holds the Level 2 Club Coach Award alongside Safeguarding in Sport training, ensuring his practice meets the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and athlete wellbeing. With extensive experience, strong discipline, and a genuine commitment to youth development, Damien creates an environment where every child can grow with confidence.
Whether a student is new to basketball or ready to take their skills to the next level, his coaching provides the structure, challenge, and motivation they need to progress. Damien’s leadership not only strengthens technique and game understanding but also builds resilience, teamwork, and a lasting love for the sport. -
Aitor Andon
SPORTS COACH
Aitor brings a dynamic blend of boxing, multisports, and tennis coaching to our team, backed by strong hands-on experience working with children across a wide range of ages and abilities. Over the years, he has developed a versatile coaching style that allows him to adapt each session to the needs of the group, ensuring that every child feels engaged, supported, and motivated to do their best.
His lessons focus on key foundations such as technique, coordination, agility, and resilience — skills that help young athletes build confidence not only in sport but in everyday life. Aitor is committed to helping children progress at their own pace, creating a positive environment where they feel safe to try new challenges, learn from mistakes, and celebrate their achievements. -
Lee Wilson
BOXING COACH
Lee brings a strong focus on discipline, technique, and controlled movement to his sessions. With certifications in England Boxing, and Level 3 First Aid, he ensures every class is delivered with safety, structure, and professionalism. His engaging, well-organised lessons help children build strength, improve coordination, and grow in confidence within a secure and supportive environment.
Lee’s approach encourages focus, resilience, and respect — essential skills that benefit young athletes both in and out of the sport. -
Belen Duarte
ART TEACHER
Belen brings extensive experience in guiding young creators through a wide range of artistic techniques. She holds a BA in Fine Arts and has developed a rich multidisciplinary background, including years of work in theatre and television in New York. In addition to her artistic practice, she is a published author of both a book and a poetry collection.
Her artwork has been exhibited in respected spaces such as Mint Shop Gallery, reflecting her commitment to creative exploration and professional artistry.
With a warm and inspiring approach, she helps children explore colour, texture, and imagination while developing real confidence in their abilities. Her sessions encourage creativity, self-expression, and a genuine love for the arts in every student she teaches. -
Antonia Etim
GYMNASTICS COACH (SENIOR)
Antonia leads one of our most popular activities, bringing years of experience and a strong foundation in discipline and technique. She holds the British Gymnastics General Coaching Certificate Level 2, as well as Safeguarding Training specific to gymnastics, ensuring every session is delivered with safety, structure, and professionalism.
Her classes help children build strength, flexibility, and confidence through structured, supportive training. With her encouraging guidance, students learn to challenge themselves, stay focused, and celebrate every achievement — big or small. -

Chloe Williams
GYMNASTICS COACH (SENIOR)
Chloe brings extensive experience, blending a gentle teaching style with strong, consistent discipline. She holds a recognised coaching qualification, ensuring that every session is delivered safely, thoughtfully, and with a high standard of practice.
Chloe creates a calm and supportive environment where children feel safe to learn, progress, and take on new challenges. With her patient guidance and expert knowledge, students build confidence, develop solid foundations, and celebrate each step of their journey. -
Nikki Cheung
BALLET TEACHER
Nikki brings exceptional experience and a unique depth of knowledge to her classes. She is a registered Arts Therapist and holds a Master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy. Her teaching blends precision, artistry, and gentle guidance with an understanding of child development and the therapeutic value of movement. Nikki creates a space where children feel supported, inspired, and confident to express themselves. Through her clear structure and caring approach, students develop strong technique, discipline, and musicality while discovering the joy and creativity of dance. Every class she leads encourages growth, elegance, self-expression, and a genuine love for movement.

TENNIS COACH (SENIOR 2)
Our tennis coach brings strong experience and a motivating coaching style that helps young players develop confidence and skill on the court. She leads one of our Senior Teams, guiding students through technique, strategy, and disciplined practice while keeping sessions engaging and supportive. With her clear instruction and encouraging approach, children build coordination, focus, and a genuine love for the sport. Her sessions create an environment where every player feels capable, challenged, and proud of their progress.

Marcos Aritzpeleta
TENNIS COACH (SENIOR 1)
Marcos is an experienced tennis coach who brings structure, energy, and clarity to every session he leads. In addition to his years of coaching experience, he holds a Level 1 Assistant Coach qualification, which strengthen his understanding of athlete development, training methodology, and safe practice across sports. Working with one of our Senior Teams, Marcos focuses on developing strong technique, smart decision-making, and confidence on the court. His coaching style is calm yet highly effective, helping students push their abilities while feeling supported and understood. Alongside his group coaching, Marcos also offers private tennis lessons, giving children the opportunity to refine their skills through personalised, one-to-one instruction. His commitment to each player’s progress makes his sessions both impactful and enjoyable.

Aitor brings a supportive and structured approach to coaching, making him a strong fit for our Junior Tennis Group. His lessons focus on building solid foundations in footwork, technique, and coordination while ensuring younger players feel engaged and confident on the court. With a calm, steady style, he helps each child progress at their own pace, encouraging effort, focus, and a positive attitude. Aitor’s ability to balance discipline with patience creates a welcoming environment where junior players develop essential skills and a genuine enjoyment for tennis.

MINI-COOKING INSTRUCTOR
As part of our Mini Cooking team, Sofia brings warmth, creativity, and steady guidance to every session. Working alongside Xavi, she supports children as they explore new ingredients, practise simple techniques, and build confidence in the kitchen. Her friendly, encouraging approach helps young cooks feel comfortable, capable, and excited to learn. With her care and attention, each class becomes a fun, hands-on experience where children discover the joy of cooking in a safe and nurturing environment.

Maika Jimenez
FLAMENCO TEACHER (JUNIOR)
Maika is a highly accomplished flamenco and Spanish dance teacher with more than 19 years of international experience. Her background includes classical ballet, Spanish dance, and studies at prestigious institutions such as the Karen Taft. She has taught across Spain, the US, Mexico, Canada, and the UK. Her teaching blends strong technical foundations with warmth, creativity, and inclusivity, creating a space where every student can build confidence, connect with culture, and enjoy the joy of dance. Alongside her classes, Maika collaborates on community projects, delivers workshops in schools, and continues to develop her practice through ongoing artistic and academic work.

FLAMENCO TEACHER (SENIOR 1)
Ana brings strong artistic training and years of experience in both dance and dramatic arts. Her Dramatic Arts qualification, enriches her teaching with expression, storytelling, and stage presence.
Her experience has allowed her to work on projects, performances, and classes where her strong foundation and artistry have always been recognised and valued.
Her teaching style blends technique, rhythm, and expression with warmth and approachability, creating a supportive environment where students can explore the beauty of flamenco with confidence. She is dedicated to helping children develop body awareness, musicality, and self-expression while discovering the cultural richness of flamenco in a joyful and accessible way. -
Concepcion Jimenez
FLAMENCO TEACHER (SENIOR 2)
Concepción brings a wealth of experience to our flamenco programme, having taught and performed for many years across a variety of community and cultural settings. Her deep connection to traditional flamenco, combined with her natural warmth and expressive style, allows her to create engaging and inspiring classes for children of all ages.
She has developed her teaching craft through countless hours of practice, performance, and hands-on work with students, guiding them in rhythm, movement, and emotional expression. In the studio, Concepción fosters an encouraging and joyful atmosphere where children feel safe to explore flamenco, build confidence, and connect with the music and culture behind the dance.
